Visitors to the National 4x4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo will be among the first to see the latest offerings from some of the biggest names in Boating with plenty of reveals and Australian premieres scheduled for the three-day event.
To be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds, March 20-22, a huge number of exhibitors from the fishing and boating industries have already confirmed attendance, including Allround Angler, Australian Marine Centre, BCF - Boating Camping Fishing, Bayside Suzuki, Brisbane Marine, Cunningham Marine, Karee Marine, Neptune Marine and Whitewater Marine.
Tohatsu is set to get plenty of interest when the covers come off new mid-range four-stroke models at the Fishing & Boating Expo.
With over 3,000 units distributed world-wide of the successful 2014 model, the MFS40/50A, the introduction of the MFS25/30C and MFS15/20D Four Stroke models is widely anticipated.
The model features Variable Idle Control for trolling, while the new 'TOCS' (Tohatsu On-board Communication System) links to compatible on-board electronic devices. The MFS25/30C is available in Standard Tiller, optional Multi-Function Tiller (select models) and Forward Control configurations.
Also making its debut at the Show, the MFS15/20D has been modernised and is a revamped version of its predecessor, the current MSF15/20C. The MFS15/20D boasts a new sleek cowling in line with Tohatsu’s look for all future models.
The team at Karee Marine will display four Extreme Game King Boats on-stand. The number-one plate alloy boat in New Zealand in terms of sales, the Extreme Game King Boat is also the most awarded taking out the top honour for the past seven years.
On display for the first time in Queensland will be a 700 Extreme Game King powered by a Mercury 250hp Verado, along with the 570, 610 and 650 Game Kings. Karee Marine will also display the Nitro Bass boats from the USA as well as the Tracker (USA) and Clark alloy boats.
A range of exhibitors will have fishing and boating accessories covered, including Sun2Sea offering the only government certified 50+ UPF fishing, boating, leisure and adventure clothing, which can be worn both wet or dry, with the garments drying in just 10 minutes, we're told.
Paul Worsteling will make his only Brisbane Show appearance for the year when he takes to the Allround Angler Fishing Stage presented by TT and Zman Lures, telling stories of his adventures and chatting with a range of industry experts.
Peter ‘Spida’ Everitt and his wife, Sheree, from The Great Australian Doorstep will bring the Campfire Cooking Corner, which will deliver tips and tricks to cook gourmet meals with fresh local produce while on the road. Don’t miss out on an OzPig demonstration, fish filleting, plus much more.
With more than 25,000 square metres dedicated to everything outdoor related, the show will boast over 180 exhibitors displaying their latest products and services.
