The 6.5m aluminium fishing boat was found washed up today (Friday January 12, 2017) near Cascade Pier on Norfolk Island, some 1673km as the albatross flies from Sydney.

The boat was brought ashore by crane where some clues suggest it may have originated in Sydney.
