Mustang Performance Vessels

Australian sportscruiser manufacturer Mustang Marine has launched Mustang Performance Vessels (MPV), a division dedicated to customising a range of limited edition vessels each year

The MPV, based in Mustang’s Gold Coast facility, is headed by former Holden Special Vehicles (New Zealand) boss Ken Blunt and will also offer custom options for any boat in the Mustang Marine range.

“This division represents another first for Mustang Marine and a completely new approach for the boating industry,” Mustang Marine chief executive Paul Scanlon said.

The first MPV model is based on the Mustang 3000SC. The MPV3000 will flaunt a red and silver livery, custom interior, large stereo package, Momo steering wheel, MerCuiser powerplant with Silent Choice Exhaust switch system, and MPV badging and build number.

An additional three MPV models are in the pipeline, and the company hopes to release them by mid 2007, creating a complete range of Mustang Performance Vessels.
