The boatbuilder said its Sports Coupe design brief was to seamlessly integrate indoor and outdoor living areas on a single level allowing for 360-degree views of the great outdoors.
The new design, said Mustang Marine, sees the cockpit, lounge, galley, and helm areas located on one integrated deck, while sleeping quarters and bathrooms remain below.
The boatbuilder said the 430 combines the proven hull design of the Sports Flybridge range with a newly developed deck and interior layout resulting in fresh styling with sea-going performance capabilities.
Mustang Marine said it will again be using Volvo Penta's IPS technology, which the company embraced in 2006, with IPS600 engines and drives fitted to the 430 as standard including the Joystick Docking System.
The Sports Coupe series will be introduced through the release of the first model in the range; the 430, with plans for further models in 2009.
The 430, said the boatbuilder, will feature an ideal entertaining area including large swim platform with boot and integrated BBQ, large cockpit with lounge, table and directors chairs, and wet bar.
There are glazed bi-fold doors leading to the indoor living areas featuring a fully equipped galley with opening window, to the cockpit running forward to the extensive helm station, while a bar, lounge and dining area opens up to port, said Mustang Marine.
The 430 has two layout options below deck: a two-cabin, one bathroom setup; or an optional three-cabin, two-bathroom design for up to eight people.
Due for release in late 2008, the 430 Sports Coupe is the result of a multi-million dollar R&D program by its new management team, said the boatbuilder.
