Built by the Burger Boat Company, an American motor yacht builder that typically builds two to three models per year, the Sycara IV is a 46 metre (151ft) vessel that has already taken out highly-rated award.
The Sycara IV, a 2010 model, was handed the Design Trophy for Custom Yachts Under 50m at the prestigious 2009 World Yachts Trophies, which took place on September 12, 2009 in alongside the Cannes International Yacht and Boat Show.

The lovingly detailed Fantail cruiser will be used by the Catena family to cruise around America and its various waterways, including regions like the Erie Barge Canal system, the Intracoastal Waterways and the famous Great Lakes.
The Sycara IV came together thank to a collaboration of experts, reads the Berger media statement. This included the Catenas "with their extensive yachting experience and yacht building knowledge; Steve Narkawicz, their highly experienced and talented project manager; Bruce King with his classic schooner bow and fantail hull; Ken Freivokh, chosen to define her interior and exterior styling true to the early 1920’s; and Burger’s team of designers, engineers and craftspeople."
