The Victorian Water Ski Association will proudly host the world-class Moomba Masters on the Yarra River this weekend, with world-acclaimed athletes and officials to participate and compete in various disciplines of waterskiing and wakeboarding.
Running from March 5-10, and in the heart of Melbourne on the Yarra River, the mighty Moomba Masters is a six-day and night watersports exhibition of the highest calibre, attracting thousands of spectators and overseas visitors to the great event held in conjunction with the Moomba Festival.
The three main competitions in Trick, Slalom and Jump disciplines will see competitors pulled exclusively behind Ski Nautique 200 Tow Boats to ensure a level playing field and the greatest expression of athletic skill.
Wakeboard competitors will carve it up behind the new Nautique G23, while the nightly Moomba ski show review will add to the magic which is the Moomba Masters.
The Moomba Masters kicks of, with the Junior Moomba Invitational for two days of competition, followed by the Moomba Masters Invitational Championships and activities.
