Italian boatbuilder, Cantiere Mimì, will unveil its largest models yet for the Australian market at the 2026 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), as local distributor Boatology confirms early demand for the brand’s Mediterranean-inspired cruisers.
Boatology will display the Libeccio 13.5 Cabin and Libeccio 11 Cabin at the May show, following the recent sale of the first two Mimì vessels in Australia – a Libeccio 8.5 Cabin and Libeccio 9.5 Cabin.
According to Boatology founder, Zain Moloobhoy, the early sales indicate growing confidence in the boutique Italian shipyard among Australian buyers.
“Seeing our first two Mimìs placed with Australian owners gives new buyers a quiet confidence that they’re joining an established global community, not just purchasing a boat,” he said.

Built in Naples, the Libeccio 13.5 Cabin represents the flagship of Mimì’s modern gozzo range.
The 13.5-metre model features three cabins, two bathrooms, generous teak deck spaces and an indoor–outdoor galley. Power comes from twin Yanmar 370hp engines, delivering cruising speeds between 15–25 knots and a top speed of around 30 knots.
Alongside it, the Libeccio 11 Cabin brings the same design philosophy to a slightly smaller platform, offering twin engines, two cabins and a hard-top layout suited to day boating or weekends on the water.
In a notable move for the brand’s local push, Italian naval architect, Valerio Rivellini, and Cantiere Mimì director, Domenico Senese, are expected to attend SCIBS to introduce the vessels to Australian buyers and media.

Rivellini, known for his modern reinterpretations of traditional Italian yacht design, said the Libeccio range blends heritage styling with contemporary technology.
“The Mimì Libeccio range is about more than just design — it embodies a way of life,” he said.
“The 13.5 and 11 Cabin models express the beauty and elegance of Mediterranean cruising, paired with modern performance and technology.”
The Libeccio 13.5 Cabin and Libeccio 11 Cabin will be showcased at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show from May 21 to 24, 2026.
