Mercury Win Double Gold ... Again
Mercury Marine's direct-injected (DI) outboard and sterndrive engines have been named the best of the best for the second straight year in a major independent customer satisfaction surveyMercury Marine is the only marine propulsion company to receive more than one award this year.
The survey was conducted by the global marketing information organisation J.D. Power and Associates which funds all of its own syndicated research in order to deliver unbiased results, with the awards presented at the Miami International Boat Show, Florida.
MerCruiser engines were recognised as the "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Sterndrive Engines", while the OptiMax - the marine industry's leading DI two-stroke outboard - was recognised as the "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Two-Stroke Outboard Engines in a Tie".
Mercury president Patrick Mackey said being recognised two years in a row for both outboard and sterndrive products demonstrated that Mercury Marine is number one on the water.
