Following its US launch in early 2016 as we reported on here, Mercury Marine has now announced the Australian and New Zealand availability of its VesselView Mobile app and software that relays SmartCraft engine data to your mobile phone and/or tablet.
Awarded a prestigious IBEX innovation award last year, the VesselView Mobile operates via a module connected into the SmartCraft harness of your boat that transmits engine data.
Using Bluetooth, the data can be relayed to your iOS or Android mobile device via the free VesselView Mobile app now available for download in Australian and NZ.
VesselView Mobile can be used on any SmartCraft-capable Mercury engine from 40hp and up, built from 2003 onwards, in single- to quad-engine applications.
With SmartCraft engine data on your phone or tablet, trip preparation and onboard monitoring is said to be easier, safer and more enjoyable.
