Mercury rises for Show

Mercury Marine will launch the new 75, 90, and 115 four-stroke outboards at the Melbourne Boat Show in July

Mercury and Mariner now have 23 individual four strokes, from the ultra-light 2.5hp to the 275hp supercharged Verado.

According to the manufacturer, the very latest technology has been used to create these fuel-efficient, low-emission, quiet outboards. They are also compatible with Mercury Marine's SmartCraft system.

These models are the latest engines from Mercury's Verado platform strategy, and while they don't share the Verado name, which is reserved for the supercharged members of the family, they do share engine design and have many common components.

Mercury says this makes these 1.7lt outboards the most durable in their class. The new mid-range EFI four strokes feature turn-key starting, and are said to be smooth across the rev range. They will be available in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific from June.
