Expo '07 saw a large group of top executives from Brunswick and Mercury in attendance, headed by Dusty McCoy chairman and CEO Brunswick Corporation, Pat Mackey president Mercury Marine Group, and John Pfeifer president Brunswick International-Asia Pacific.
Their presentations outlined not only product and marketing innovations but further emphasised Brunswick's absolute commitment to the success of every dealer in the Mercury family, said the company.
Among new product news was: a preview of the Axius - a joystick controlled docking system for MerCruiser sterndrives; the next generation of ultra-fuel-efficient Verado supercharged four-strokes, including a new four-cylinder 200hp model (the world's lightest 200hp four-stroke), and new top-of-the-line 300hp model and 250hp OptiMax; a new OptiMax 175hp ProXS created by Mercury Racing; three new mid-range EFI four-strokes plus new lightweight 15hp and 20hp portable four-strokes.
