It was one of the most exciting ski race events in the history of the sport, said Mercury Marine, with Australian skiers winning five of the six world titles, and four of them powered by Mercury engines.
By claiming the F1 Women's title, Ann Procter became the most accomplished ski racer ever (man or woman) - while Jason Walmsley claimed the F1 Men's crown in a thriller.
Both champions were pulled to victory by the 21-foot Merc Force boat powered by a Mercury Racing 1075 SCi sterndrive.
In the F2 competition Australians Chris Stout and Tania Teelow took the honours, with both powered across the line by the new Mercury 300XS outboards.
"Without doubt the world championships are the ultimate test, and these results are another feather in the cap for Mercury Racing," said Guy Williamson, Mercury Racing sales manager for Australia and New Zealand.
"To claim the top four titles at ski racing's greatest event is very special and confirms Mercury is head and shoulders above the competition when it comes to performance and race reliability," said Williamson.
The fifth Australian world champion was Trudi Stout (sister of Chris) who claimed the Junior Girls title.
And with a further five Australians - Lauryn Eagle, Daniel Campbell, Luke Keys, Rory Brien and Emma Carson - recording podium finishes, it's no surprise Australia also won the Country Trophy with the most points accumulated over the week, said Mercury Marine.
