Melbourne's marina
Construction of Melbourne's marina is set to be completed this year.The first of the 149 private berths between 12–22m were offered by Mirvac at the Melbourne Boat Show in June. Asking prices were from $125,000–$285,000 for 20+5-year lease terms.
Nineteen berths will be dedicated for public use.
The 'Marina YE', located at the Docklands' South Wharf on the Yarra River between the Crown Casino and the Bolte Bridge, is part of $1 billion residential 'Yarra's Edge' development by Mirvac.
The complex includes 756 waterfront apartments, a health club, day spa, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, and a hectare of open public parkland. A limited number of apartments remain for sale. Prices range from $665,000 to more than $2 million.
