The popular Polycraft range of rotomoulded polyethylene tenders and fishing boats will be on display at the Melbourne International Boat Show from June 16-19. So, too, will a hammer so you can put them to the test.
Made in Bundaberg, Queensland, Polycraft are renowned for their tough, virtually unbreakable construction. Buyers will be encouraged to test the hulls on Aussie Boat Sales’ display at Melbourne boat show by whacking them with a hammer.
As the photo above shows, the best-selling 3.0m Tuff Tender is also considered to be the most stable vessel in its class, with a tri-hull design and double skin construction. But the same can be said for the entire range from centre consoles and cuddies to bowriders and open boats.
Polycraft also offers its boats with a commercial survey option, making the brand a popular choice for hire boat, charter and commercial operators.
Scott O’Hare from Aussie Boat Sales is full of praise for what he calls his "tinny-killing boats."
"When it comes to ride, stability and strength, the aluminium boats don’t come close," he says, adding that the bonus of the UV stabilised material, vivid colour options, low maintenance and standard features make Polycraft a "no brainer."
Aussie Boat Sales will have Polycraft BMT packages starting under $5000 so you can get out on the water without breaking the bank.
"Compare the stability of a kayak with our 3.0m Tuff, for example, and we throw in a Honda motor and Easytow trailer for that price!
"Far safer, space for three people, 10 different colours and you don’t have to paddle... come on down and have a bash at the 'Polys' and we’ll supply the hammer!" O’Hare says.
Aussie Boat Sales will have a full range of Polycraft to inspect at their stand at the Melbourne boat show running from June 16-19.
