Victorian watersports enthusiasts will be treated to a feast of cool Mastercraft at this week's 2016 Melbourne Boat Show opening June 17-19.
In a Victorian first, the newly released X26 and NXT Global Edition wake boats will make their local debuts.
"Melbourne Boat Show is very important for our brand," says Mastercraft importer Ronnie Arenson. "We are sending our best to be on show."
Mastercraft is not only ensuring that a full line-up of boats are on display, including the newly released X26 and NXT Global edition, but are arranging for Mr. Jay Povlin, The Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, from the Knoxville head office to attend this year’s show.
NEW X26
The impressive X26 party wakeboat has some innovative features not found on other sport tow boats —separate toilet / head, wet bar, fridge and, to make docking a breeze, a jet thruster that is said to have enough grunt to manoeuvre even in strong winds.
Suitable for the bay, this big beast will accommodate 16 people while still having plenty of storage for wakeboards and wake surfers.
Built for the family embarking on an all-day cruise, the X26 is said to open up new recreational horizons with its agility and profound wake shaping capabilities.
The boat debuts a completely redesigned hull shape including an unprecedented draft height and deadrise that Mastercraft says enables it to run rings around similarl-sized boats.
NXT GLOBAL EDITION
The New NXT Global Edition was a result of numerous request for an outboard powered boat suitable for wakeboarding and cruising!
This boat on show will feature the 225 Mercury Verado, which has fly-by-wire technology with GPS-based speed control. Perfect for wakeboarding and, for those that need to barefoot, this boat can do it in style.
The outboard power means you can get right in close to the beach, easily launch at less-than-perfect ramps, and reduce your maintenance costs.
