
The BIAV (Boating Industry Association of Victoria) Melbourne Boat show will be staged early this year from June 12-16 with just 12 weeks to go.
The Melbourne Boat Show will held in its usual venue at The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (Jeff's Shed).
Orgainisers say that this year’s show will have a plenty for the family to see and do with all the latest in boats, accessories, fishing tackle gear and jet skis to fill your summer fun. There’s also lots of giveaways, prizes and competitions to add to a fun day at the show.
The 2014 BIA Melbourne Boat Show has “gone overboard” with new exhibits and interactive features to make it the most exciting show yet. Show-goers will find every type of boat from budget tinnies to top-end cruisers, plus ski and wake boats, every type of engine and drive system, and all the lifestyle accessories that make recreational boating such a treat.
For experienced and novice boaties alike, the show will feature the latest in boats, innovation and accessories. The Boating Industry Association of Victoria says it will fill the massive under-cover space at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre with the latest and greatest in recreational boating products, information and safety advice.
If you are a fisherman or water sports enthusiast you’ll find it all at the 2014 BIA Melbourne Boat Show. As always, the whole family is catered for at this year’s show including the kids who’ll be kept enetertained at the ever-popular Flathead Fred’s Fun Fishin’ Show.
"Our member traders and dealers are gearing up for bigger than ever deals to tempt your nautical side and get you out on the water early this summer," said BIAV President Paul Benjamin.
"The Melbourne Boat show is one of the major Melbourne events this June and is just one more of the spectacular events on the Victorian events calendar," Mr Benjamin added.
Admission to the show will be: Adults: $20, children aged between five and 16: $2, children under five accompanied by an adult will be free and students and pensioner concession card holders: $14 (with ID), a family which includes two adults and up to five children: $44
