Sundance Marine has confirmed the arrival of Australia’s first Beneteau Gran Turismo 40. The new Gran Turismo model from Beneteau will make its Australian premiere at the Melbourne Boat Show from June 17-20 and will be displayed alongside the recently-released Beneteau Antares 30.
The Gran Turismo 40 was launched in September 2015 at the Cannes International Yachting Festival.
David Beck from Sundance Marine said: "We’re pleased to have secured this boat for Australia, particularly given her popularity at Cannes, Paris and Dusseldorf Boat Shows.
"With eye catching sharp lines, she looks great when moored or when up and going. With the latest Air Step technology, her planing hull gives you a driving sensation and level of comfort and safety at up to 35 knots." Beck added.
The new boat is said to be great for families with two cabins, head and galley, or for two couples overnighting or short-term cruising. The spacious outdoor area is perfect for entertaining with a large seating area for up to 11 people, outdoor cooking area, and hydraulic swim platform allowing you to launch toys straight into the water. The opening sun roof and light bright cockpit area make her an ideal day boat and versatile in varying weather conditions. The new Beneteau is powered by a pair of Volvo 300hp D4 Engines with stern-drive legs to get you where you want to go quickly and Joystick control to allow you to do it easily and berth short handed if needs be. The GT40 includes a unique driving station that seats three and offers a fantastic viewing platform. More at www.melbourneinternationalboatshow.com.au.
