Mega marina on Meridien's Horizon
Australia's largest marina complex will create thousands of new jobs, according to plans announced today by property developer MeridienMeridien plans to transform its latest acquisition, Horizon Shores on the Gold Coast, into a mega marina and resort style village.
Meridien recently acquired the Horizon Shores site for in excess of $25 million from a company associated with long standing Gold Coast Developer Arthur Lowe.
Subject to Council Approval, Windward Horizon Shores will expand 15 times its current size to offer up to 150,000sqm of industrial space, and the marina will more than double to 1350 wet berths.
Construction on the site will start in November.
