McConaghy, and its European Broker McConaghy Multihull EU, has announced the first sale at Boot Dusseldorf of the new MC50CAT.
The agreement was sealed on the fourth day of Boot Dusseldorf, and construction will begin next month.
The buyer of the yacht is well known to the McCongahy team, and to the European broker led by Ole John.
Ole John of McConaghy Multihulls EU, McConaghy’s exclusive dealer for multihulls in Europe, said from the show:
"We are thrilled to be able to confirm this sale, the client is well known to us, and we had been keeping him briefed on the design McConaghy and Ker have been developing. The client saw the final design at the show for the first time, and leapt at the opportunity to be the first buyer for the yacht.
"It is a great way to start... and we are looking forward to closing more deals over the coming days," he added.
