The world’s best wakeboarder will be the special guest at a gathering of MasterCraft owners at the unofficial home of the sport in Victoria, Lake Eildon, on November 24-25.
The inaugural MasterCraft Owners’ Mixer will be hosted by MasterCraft Boats Melbourne. Joining Australian wakeboarding multiple world champion Harley Clifford at the event will be US-based world-class wakeboarder and star of MTV’s wakeboarding reality show Wake Brothers, Bob Soven.
“This will be a perfect opportunity to see these two riders surfing and wakeboarding behind the new MasterCraft XStar,” the brand’s Australian regional sales manager, Ronnie Arenson, said. “MasterCraft Melbourne will also have a few other models on the water for people to come and test.”
He said the event was open to all MasterCraft owners, allowing them to mix it up with riders, factory staff and other owners.
The second-generation MasterCraft XStar is one of the newest boats in the MasterCraft line-up. It introduces a new, wake-specific hull that can carry more than 1800kg of ballast in new midship ballast tank that enhances the wake and improves wake surfing performance.
“The final element enabling the XStar’s profound wake is the optional, award-winning Gen 2 Surf System that creates three zones of perfectly sculpted, customisable surf,” MasterCraft said.
“Enhancing the wake-friendly operation is a new MasterCraft innovation, the FastFill Ballast System that speeds time to towing by filling the XStar’s ballast tanks under three minutes.”
The 23-foot MasterCraft XStar has room for 16 passengers. The boat also introduces a dual-screen dashboard and selectable driving tunes that switch through “drive”, “tow” and “chill” modes. The boat comes with a standard Klipsch Audio system and a gas shock-assisted ZFT4 tower.
Other guests attending the day will have limited availability to the event.
