Maritimo has teased what appears to be an all-new flybridge model ahead of a full reveal of an as-yet-unidentified new luxury motor yacht in about a week’s time.
UPDATE: Maritimo has released a second image that reveals an extended lower cockpit and a winch post next to a cleat, suggesting that this is an addition to the more premium end of the spectrum. It now has us thinking, could this be yet another addition to the Offshore series? It also hints that this could be a replacement for the flagship M70.
The single image shows what looks like the aft saloon and flybridge deck framed in a topdeck featuring a steeply-raked rail running forward.
The sheer line of the new model looks a lot like that of the Maritimo M51, which would hint at an all-new entry-level variant arriving for the M-Series line of flybridge cruisers.
According to Maritimo, the new model teased in the single image revealed over the weekend soon will be revealed in full.
The Maritimo M51 was introduced to the luxury motor yacht maker’s M Series line-up in 2016, and significantly updated in 2019 including panoramic hullside windows and a new dashboard that added car-like design elements to the helm.
Maritimo recently showed the significantly made-over M55 flybridge and S55 sedan models at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
The new models come after Maritimo flagged last year it would launch eight new or significantly updated models in 2021 as part of a major overhaul of its line-up of sedan and flybridge cruisers.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic that plunged large parts of Australia into lockdown earlier this year meant the Maritimo M55 was first revealed to a virtual audience.
The M55 was able to have its global launch at the 2021 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May – the only major boat show held in Australia this year other than the Perth boat show.
The iconic M Series flybridge motor yachts are renowned for their long-range cruising efficiency, build integrity, and ocean-tested performance.
