Sydney’s weather over the past couple of weeks has hardly been conducive to boating but with summer just around the corner SBM Maritimo, at The Spit in Mosman, is holding a mini boat show with nine new Maritimo luxury cruisers on display on the last weekend in October.
As well as the new vessels, there will be a range of pre-loved Maritimos to tempt buyers.
The new models on display include the C47 Sports Cabriolet, with Volvo Penta IPS drivers, and a C50 and a C60 both equipped the the new Twin Disc EJS joystick system that makes coming alongside a jetty or manoeuvring into a marina pen a piece of cake.
The super luxury Maritimo motoryacht line will be represented by the flagship M73 and the new look M53. The complete range of Offshore Convertables will also be available for inspection. There will be the 440 Offshore, with Volvo Penta IPS, as well as the 470, 500 and 550.
The boss of SBM Maritimo Steve Batton says that several models will be available for immediate delivery for those who want to get out on the water without any delay. Sea trials of the cruiser range can be arranged by appointment by ringing (02) 99681222.
The show will be open on Saturday, October 30, and Sunday, October 31, from 10am until 5pm. Visitors will find a sausage sizzle and drinks available throughout the day – so prospective buyers can drop in for a quick look or spend some hours going over their favourite vessel.
SBM Maritimo is based at Smith’s Boatyard on the eastern side of The Spit.
