Two of Maritimo’s most successful models, the M50 and the M58 Cruising Motoryachts, have been given an upgrade with the Generation II versions of these vessels launched at the 2014 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
The Maritimo M50 evolved from one of Maritimo's most successful models, the M48 cruising motoryacht, which racked up 109 builds.
Maritimo says the second-generation versions of the M50 and M58 are expected to be met with strong demand given the popularity of the original releases.
Maritimo sales and marketing manager, Greg Haines, said both models had been refined with new dashboards, recessed steering wheels, new master bathroom in the M58, increased lounges and a choice of different timber finishes.
"In the M50 we have moved the water tanks to sit under the bathrooms which has created a massive lazarette which in the European boats can be used as crew quarters," he said.
"The first of these aft crew quarters versions is being sent to Venezuela.
"The engine room liner in the M58 is new and provides a cleaner crisper finish.
"The M58's master bathroom has also been upgraded."
Mr Haines said the refinements came after feedback from existing owners and Maritimo’s ongoing review and improvement program.
New helms on the M50 and M58 are designed to complement the new array of glass helm electronics from the likes of Garmin and Simrad.
"We have redesigned the dashes so that the displays are directly in front of the helmsman, and they will take up to three 17-19 inch displays," he said.
