Australian manufacturer Maritimo has recorded one of its most successful Fort Lauderdale International Boat Shows ever with multiple sales of its M58 (second photo) and M50 (opening pic) Cruising Motoryachts.
Maritimo Sales and Marketing Manager Greg Haines said the atmosphere and positivity at the recent show was the best it had been in many years.
"The numbers were up and the people buying were greater than in previous years," he said.
"We sold an M58 to a buyer from New Jersey, and M50 to Seattle, another M58 to Florida and the USA team is currently in negotiations with prospective buyers from Venezuela, Newport Beach, Connecticut, Porto Rico and Panama.
"We were very impressed with the interest being shown in the M50 and the M58 overall and there’s no doubt that those two boats have been the stand-out success for us this year."
Mr Haines said Maritimo had some big things planned for Fort Lauderdale next year.
He said he expected the new M65 Cruising Motoryacht, which will have its public debut at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in the first quarter of 2015, will attract considerable international attention at all the shows Maritimo attended next year.
"We are extremely positive about the Americas and we are well positioned to grow awareness of the brand and our products throughout 2015," he said.
