Maritimo has officially launched its new flagship model, the 2023 Mairiomo M75 flybridge cruiser, featuring the most indoor and outdoor living space it has ever had on a motor yacht.
The new model, launched on Friday at a special ceremony on the Gold Coast, will join the recently launched Maritimo S75 sedan motor yacht that made its debut at last month’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
Around 100 people attended the Sanctuary Cove launch event, including owners who have already placed an order for the range-topping motor yacht.
The new flybridge model is built on the same dedicated production line used for the S75.
The Maritimo M75 also has a big nod towards the brand’s 20-year history, with the motor yacht maker’s first model, the Mairtimo 60, a flybridge cruiser.
According to Maritimo, the new M75 is the result of 120,000 hours of research, design and tooling, with each two- to three-month build taking the equivalent of four years of build time to complete.
Maritimo managing director Tom Barry-Cotter said as the flagship model, the new Maritimo M75 had been “cloaked in a mighty exterior form from bow to stern”.
“The M75’s hull profile is personified by sweeping longitudinal contours and styling cues combined with integral hull windows gracing the hull topsides, providing the internal accommodations with unprecedented views and natural light,” Barry-Cotter said.
“Sleek moulded contours transition from the aft portofino internal hips into the deep walkthrough side decks that flank each side of the deckhouse, connecting the forward and rear decks with the functionality that Maritimo has become known for,” he said.
“Exterior flybridge wings provide further brand-defining function in the space they offer within the enormous flybridge level, as well as the protection provided over the side decks.”
Similar to other Maritimo boats, the new model is a serious long-range bluewater cruiser and is more than capable of travelling from the Gold Coast to the Whitsundays without needing to refuel.
