Organisers of the Marine17 Trade Exhibition say the biennial industry event will hit new heights this year thanks to the inclusion of the BLA Tradeshow.
BLA is Australia’s largest wholesaler of products to the Australian Marine Industry and was acquired by marine multinational Brunswick Corporation in 2015.
Distributing throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia, BLA’s product range currently exceeds 15,000 lines. Among the big brands are SeaStar Solutions, Humminbird, Minn Kota, MarineTown, Whale, Attwood, Sierra, Mastervolt, BEP, Lewmar, Clarion, Old Town, Fischer Panda, 3M and Hydrotab.
The BIA says these key brands and many more will be on display at the Marine17 Exhibition, which will be held from July 30-August 1 at the International Convention Centre, along with a significant presence from their manufacturers.
The BLA Tradeshow will release the latest new products to the industry with best pricing for the year. Representatives from the leading brands will be on site to demonstrate their offerings along with the BLA sales team.
Howard Glenn, National CEO of the Boating Industry Association, said the association is excited to welcome BLA onboard.
"It really is a perfect fit for the Exhibition. The BLA Tradeshow will only attract further involvement from marine businesses. More B2B companies, more robust displays, more key decision makers walking the Exhibition floor. What a win for industry!"
Spanning three days, Marine17 will be run just two days before the 50th Sydney International Boat Show and is expected to attract more than 700 key decision makers across the spectrum of boating business, marinas, boating safety, and light commercial marine industries.
