Marine Insurance Partnership

Leading specialist underwriting agency Nautilus Marine Insurance has signed a long term agreement with Lumley General Insurance

Under the agreement Nautilus Marine will be Lumley's underwriting agent for pleasure-craft and related commercial insurances for their broker business, effective March 1, 2007.

LGI ceo David Matcham said it was recognised recreational boating activity and the businesses that support the boating community are of increasing importance.

"The arrangement allows us to effectively develop products and services specifically designed for their needs," Marcham said.

Nautilus Marine's marketing manager Mark Crockford said the new arrangement would offer a broader range of pleasure craft insurances and specialist commercial products designed for the boating industry.

"This partnership allows us to continue expanding our product range with the launch of our Commercial Marine Division and appointment of Lyndon Turner," Crockford said.

Nautilus Marine has offices in NSW, Victoria, Queensland and WA.
