Marina expansion on track

The expansion works of d'Albora Marinas' Nelson Bay Marina in New South Wales are expected to be completed by September

The expansion is particularly designed to cater for larger vessels, berths for which are in short supply across NSW, according to the company.

Undertaken by Bellingham Marine, the project aims to attract local and visiting motorboat owners, as well as the growing number of sailing vessels cruising and racing along the coast of NSW. Nelson Bay's proximity to Sydney has seen the protected waterway attract an increasing number of boat owners.

Reciprocal berthing rights within the d'Albora Marina group mean customers leasing berths at Nelson Bay can access free of charge d'Albora's other marinas in Sydney and Melbourne.

Costing just over $1.3 million, the project adds 32 berths with sizes ranging from 12 to 35m.
