Undertaken by Bellingham Marine, the project aims to attract local and visiting motorboat owners, as well as the growing number of sailing vessels cruising and racing along the coast of NSW. Nelson Bay's proximity to Sydney has seen the protected waterway attract an increasing number of boat owners.
Reciprocal berthing rights within the d'Albora Marina group mean customers leasing berths at Nelson Bay can access free of charge d'Albora's other marinas in Sydney and Melbourne.
Costing just over $1.3 million, the project adds 32 berths with sizes ranging from 12 to 35m.
