Riviera's new 515 SUV and 50 Enclosed Flybridge will make their West Australian premieres at the 2014 Mandurah Boat Show from October 10 to 12.
Riviera says these new models represent all of the trademark qualities of Riviera, but with many exciting design refinements throughout each model.
Riviera chairman and owner Rodney Longhurst said the sporty 515 SUV has proven an immediate success in the world of luxury powerboats and is the perfect pairing of two Riviera designs.
"The 515 made her world premiere at the Riviera Festival of Boating just four months ago and I am very pleased that we have now sold up to hull number 12. She joins the impressive 565 and popular 445 models in Riviera's new SUV collection, all of which have a number of different options to suit specific boating applications from cruising and entertaining to sport fishing."
The SUV series combines the high-performance, blue-water cruising and fish-raising abilities of the classic Flybridge with the single-level leisurely entertaining features of the popular Sport Yacht series – a true bridge between them both.
"Our Riviera SUV series opens up a new world of boating enjoyment for both the avid angler and cruising entertainer," Longhurst said. "Our growing family of SUV owners tell us that it's a lot like having two boats in one."
Riviera says that from the moment you step aboard the 515 SUV you'll appreciate the evolution in Riviera's styling, with double transom doors, island storage centre and no-nonsense Flybridge-sized cockpit with plenty of storage and options so owners can truly personalise their boat.
"One key feature of the 515 is the large awning window which opens out from the galley and brings the expansive cockpit into the spacious saloon, appointing the modern and aft U-shaped galley as the central entertainment hub of the boat and, at the same time, creating a free-flowing feel from sporty elevated helm right through to the large aft swim platform.
"Below deck, the 515 offers a flexible three-stateroom/two bathroom accommodation layout with a very generous-sized master stateroom aft with island queen-sized bed and full headroom, as well as clever storage concepts," said Longhurst. "The forward stateroom is every bit as luxurious as the master and, in fact, can serve as the master if desired. It too has an island queen-sized bed, full headroom and ensuite, with plenty of storage concepts and hanging space.” The starboard twin cabin in the 515 also has full headroom and its own clever storage concepts.
Standard power in the 515 SUV is the new generation twin Volvo IPS2 800s (460kW / 2 x 626hp) pod drives which deliver a top speed of 31 knots under full load, a cruise speed of 23 knots and a cruising range of 355nm at 23.9 knots with 10 per cent fuel reserve.
Also on display will be the new 50 Enclosed Flybridge, a boat that Riviera says is well suited to the West.
"The sleek new 50 Enclosed Flybridge has a striking exterior profile with large hull windows and port lights, twin transom doors in the cockpit, aft galley with awning window that connects the saloon with the oversized cockpit," said Longhurst. "There's also a flexible accommodation plan featuring three equal-sized staterooms and two bathrooms, a three-sided enclosed flybridge with forward helm, a very generous seating arrangement and an internal staircase linking the saloon to the flybridge, through a lockable water-tight hatch.
"All round, this boat feels bigger with more internal volume space than similar sized vessels, which can be attributed to the clever interior design which provides an abundance of natural light.
"This vessel is also the perfect size for three couples or a large extended family. At 50 feet, it fits into standard size marina berths without compromising on space or the hallmark qualities of Riviera, and we are certain Riviera enthusiasts in Western Australia will be impressed with this striking new Flybridge model."
Standard power in the 50 Enclosed Flybridge is via twin Volvo Penta IPS2-800s (2 x 626hp), which includes joystick control, and achieves a top speed of 30.1 knots, a cruise speed of 22.5 knots and a cruising range of 354nm at 24.5 knots, with 10 per cent fuel reserve.
Be among the first in Western Australia to inspect these stunning new models as they head up an impressive line-up of Riviera's latest designs including the 445 SUV, 5000 Sport Yacht, 5800 Sport Yacht and 43 Open Flybridge, all of which are available through Riviera's West Australian dealers – R Marine Mandurah and R Marine Perth – which will both be in attendance at the Mandurah Boat Show.
