Malibu wakeboats at JSW Powersports on the Gold Coast

US towboat specialist Malibu Boats has welcomed JSW Powersports on the Gold Coast to its dealer family.

In step with global trends, watersports are booming and helping fuel Malibu's global growth with new dealer appointments, the boatbuilder says.

Wake surfing, wakeboarding and water-skiing have hit new heights this summer, pretty much in that order of preference, and Malibu's position in the watersports industry owes as much to it global dealer network as its acclaimed Surf Gate wake systems.

Of course, we also have some champion Malibu riders Down Under, with Amber Wing and Parker Siegele among the top local athletes who have carved a named for themselves behind these cool boats.

Joining the action, JSW Powersports is henceforth the Malibu and Axis Wake Research dealer for the Gold Coast and far northern New South Wales region, where plenty of salt- and freshwater tow sports are staged pretty much all year round.

Jeff McNiven, Director of JSW Powersports, is also the biggest Sea-Doo dealership in the world and therefore no stranger to the game.

Malibu Boats is the world's largest manufacturer of watersports towboats, owning over one-third of the global market share.

McNiven said the Malibu and Axis brands are a great addition to his busy dealership and he’s excited to be part of the dynamic Malibu global network.

AUSTRALIAN-MADE MALIBU
Malibu Boats Pty Ltd. has been producing a wide range of the company's world-renowned towboats in Albury, NSW, since 1996. In fact, Malibu is the only U.S. towboat company to manufacture boats in Australia.

The Australian arm is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of the U.S. company, Malibu Boats Pty Ltd., and builds Malibu boats to same specifications, workmanship, quality, and attention to detail as the parent company.
