Queensland-based alloy trailer boat specialist Makocraft will launch a new flagship model at the 2024 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
The new model, the Makocraft 731 Island Cab HT, will replace the 631 Island Cab HT at the top of the Island Cab HT coastal plate boat range.
Makocraft owner Tim Stessl said the 731 Island Cab HT was introduced after customers “expressed a desire to venture further into open waters”.
“The new 731 Island Cab HT boasts a robust 5.0mm bottom and comes standard with a checker plate floor, offering an array of premium features not found in the existing Island Cab HT models,” Stessl said.
“We've listened to our customers' feedback and ensured that this new flagship model meets their demands for enhanced performance and functionality."
The new Makocraft 731 Island Cab HT is designed for extended range and endurance.
That means the new model features a 350-litre fuel tank – 100 litres more than the 631 Island Cab HT – so that owners can embark on longer journeys without the need to make refuelling stops.
Makocraft’s Sanctuary Cove boat display will include other changes to the model line-ups, including the 631 Canyon Console ‘Cross Over’ and the 425 Commander HD Open runabout.
Rounding out Makocraft’s Sanctuary Cove display will be the brand’s perennial favorites such as the 561 Canyon Console, 445 Commander Pro, and what is claimed to be Australia's top-selling tinnie, the 376 Topper Tracker.
The Makocraft stand will also have a display of Dunbier trailers for anyone thinking about sliding a new trailer under their boat.
