Luhrs 35 Convertible
Before hitting the drafting table, Luhrs said it polled sportsfishers, customers and dealers on what features and amenities they would most like in a midsize convertibleThe result is the all-new Luhrs 35 Convertible - which the Florida boatbuilder said is a unique combination of awesome fishing prowess, speed, safety and comfort.
With an overall length of 38ft10in and a beam of 14ft6in, Luhrs said the 35 Convertible is big and roomy with an 84ft² cockpit and can sleep six inside.
The Luhrs 35 Convertible is a fish-fighting machine with two in-deck fishboxes and macerator pumps, fishbox in the coaming, bait prep-center with tackle-drawers, built-in livewell, and sink, while the cockpit sports a 113.5lt livewell with pump moulded into the transom, said the boatbuilder.
The flybridge accommodates six and its helm is located aft to give the operator visibility to the cockpit action. The Luhrs BridgeWalk (molded-in stairway) makes access to the flybridge easy and secure, said the boatbuilder.
Luhrs said the 35 Convertible has twin Volvo IPS-500 diesels and electronic controls for quick, quiet and economical running.
For cruising, Luhrs said the 35 Convertible has an option of large forward cabin windows.
The main saloon has 6ft4in headroom, a sleeper sofa, flatscreen TV and Bose stereo system with a galley to port.
The master stateroom has a double berth and the guest stateroom offers a large berth for two, said Luhrs, while a full-sized head features a vanity sink and enclosed shower.
