Lowrance sweeps Barra Tour
Pro fishers find their targetsThe three-man Lowrance Pro Team filled three of the top ten places in the 2009 ABT Barra Tour, with Cy Taylor cementing his position as the country's No. 1 barra angler by taking out the individual title for the third year in a row.
Second was fellow Lowrance Pro Team member Jason Wilhelm, while Cy and his brother Kerrin Taylor took out the team angler of the year award.
All three fishermen say the advanced technology of Lowrance HDS (high definition system) gave then the winning edge. Featuring award-winning Broadband Sounder technology, the HDS gives unrivalled echo clarity and high underwater definition.
The system's greater sensitivity and minimal clutter gives excellent separation of fish from cover and help anglers to find more fish, in both fresh and salt water.
Jason Wilhelm also used the groundbreaking Lowrance StructureScan during the tour as it gives anglers a new dimension in underwater displays -- side-to-side as well as straight down.
The units will give clear images down to 480 feet (146 metres) and are fully sunlight viewable.
