Low blow to rescue volunteers

Marine Rescue Central Coast is in distress and well out of pocket following the brazen theft of the prize in its Annual Boat Raffle last Thursday night, October 24.

The prize boat was on display at the Kincumber Shopping Village in support of the raffle sales effort when it was stolen during the night. The thieves were recorded on the Centre’s CCTV system. The raffle is due to be drawn on Sunday November 10.

The boat is a white painted 3.8m Anglapro MR384 runabout with a blue boat cover. A 9.9hp black Suzuki outboard is fitted, and the boat is on a Dunbier boat trailer, registered number Y51283 (see photo).

Anyone sighting the vessel or trailer should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Marine Rescue Central Coast 4325 7929. The volunteers need your help.
