Looking Forward To New Interphase Sonar Engine

Interphase, the manufacturer of phased array LCD sonars, has introduced the industry's first "black-box" forward looking sonar with VGA and video outputs

The new SE-200B Sonar Engine adds vertical, horizontal and dual scanning sonar capability to multifunction and large panel displays, and turns most video-capable chartplotters, radars and other displays into fully-featured forward-looking sonars.

Designed to work with video-enabled multifunction displays from companies such as Seiwa, Northstar, Simrad, Raymarine, Furuno, Garmin and Navman, the SE-200B includes the phased array transducer(s), a small module with sophisticated electronics, and keypad that can be put close to a remote display.

The Sonar Engine features Auto Gain, Auto Range, Keel Offset, Shallow and Range Alarms, Scan Sector Adjustment and Transducer Test feature.

To help identify targets the 12-colour display shows different strengths as unique colours.
