Lexor Plus 4-blade propeller

Solas Propellers Australia has just released the Rubex high-performance rubber-inserted interchangeable bush, along with the Lexor Plus 4-blade propeller

Solas have started production of a new 4-blade propeller for 150 to 350hp groups, to improve the fuel and mid-range boat performance, especially seen on eight to 10m boats with large 300hp-plus outboards.

Most boats will benefit from the new patented Rubex multifit square rubber insert, designed to take the massive stresses set up on outboard powered large vessels working in hard conditions. Rubex will be available for the Mercury Verado and Yamaha 350 gearcases using the larger 1¼in 19-spline shaft. The bushes need no specialised rebushing cones to replace the propeller bush.

The Lexor Plus 4-blade Solas will be investment cast in duplex high chromium/nickel and feature large D.A.R. area ratio, massive blade chamber, high rake and unique high sweep blade tips with surface-piercing attributes.

Solas said the props will be competitively priced against other props in the market place, and offer an industry-first five-year warranty on conventional Solas rubber-bushed props from 75hp upwards.
