Lewis Ski Boats for Victoria

Melbourne-based Streaker Boats has been officially appointed as the sole Lewis Ski Boats dealer for Victoria and will stock the boats at its showroom in Bayswater.

Lewis has been one of the leading names in Australian water skiing since the 1930s and has led the way in power boat and ski boat development. It has a reputation for quality, performance and design.

Today Lewis has a track record for delivering some of the strongest hull construction techniques in the industry.

An experienced manufacturer of fibreglass fishing boats himself, Streaker Boats director Leon Savage says Lewis Ski Boats are deservedly regarded as one of the benchmark brand names in the Australian leisure boat industry.

"I am greatly impressed with the complete Lewis package -- the design, construction, presentation and performance are all first rate," Savage says.

"It is with great pride that Streaker Boats is now representing the Lewis brand in Victoria."

The first Lewis boat available is the Eclipse -- a classic mid-mount ski boat with the addition of a bow rider section and wake board tower.

"It is a sensational boat that fits neatly into the middle of the family ski boat market," Savage says. "There are competitive ski boats that are way more expensive and others that are pretty basic and cheap. The Lewis Eclipse delivers great value for money and promises thousands of hours of safe boating ahead."

The Lewis Eclipse is powered by a MerCruiser 350 Towsport mid-mounted engine, fitted with forward, neutral and reverse transmission. The boat also has a large rear storage locker, side pockets and a full length storage unit under the observer's seat and under the deck.

Streaker Boats is offering a highly optioned Eclipse, as a turnkey package on a tandem trailer, for $65,490, as an introductory package.
