LED leads Halogen

Marine lighting issues solved with LED

Boat-fitting and designer-gear specialist, Gineico, has sourced a range of a viable LED replacements for the common 10W and 20W G4 halogen globes.

LED replacements for the standard halogen bi-pin globes are something that the marine industry has been waiting on for many years. But until recently the options were either a pale blue globe or one that did not emit a satisfactory amount of light, says Gineico.

These new ultra-bright LED globes can be seen in operation at Gineico's showrooms and, says the company, the comparison is simply amazing. Furthermore, because the units are easy to use in existing fittings, they represent a fast and cost effective way of reducing heat and, of course, power consumption in your boat.
