Learn racing skills
Sunsail is offering sailing enthusiasts the chance to learn racing skills while competing in the prestigious 2006 Hahn Premium Race Week on Hamilton Island, August 19 to 26Sunsail has spots aboard two luxury yachts for guests to experience regatta racing while learning skills such as race tactics, course planning, sail trimming, race start sequences, racing rules, and spinnaker hoisting and retrieving.
Costing $2765 per person, the offer includes nine nights' accommodation aboard a Beneteau 411 monohull yacht. Students must have existing sailing skills to a minimum of competent crew level.
The yachts, two Beneteau 411 yachts, will be officially entered in the cruising division of the race.
