Following a steady upward trend, this year’s Gold Coast International Marine Expo is set to be bigger and better than ever.
Known as the ‘Working Boat Show” because of its position, slap-bang in the middle of the Gold Coast’s marine precinct, the Expo has enjoyed great success (24 per cent growth) since its instigation in 2011.
The Expo has won plaudits from exhibitors and attendees alike due to its casual style, not-for-profit ethos as well as its roominess and ability to spread out.
Last year, the Expo boasted 190 exhibitors which was 40 up on the inaugural year, and over 500 boats were on display -- everything from kayaks to superyachts. Geared for the family, the Expo offersl oads of entertainment on and off the water -- stalls, displays, shows, food and fun for all the family.
If the upward trend continues, the Expo could have up to 250 exhibitors and well over 600 boats this year.
The 2013 Gold Coast Marine Expo will be held at Coomera on November 1-3. To find out more or to obtain a prospectus go to www.gcmarineexpo.com.au
As a key media partner boatsales.com.au and BoatPoint.com.au will have an increased presence at the Expo this year and we'll have some new show initiatives (watch this space).
