Specialist powered catamaran manufacturers Kevlacat Power Boats Australia has reintroduced its popular 7.2m model.The release is thanks to an ideal engine match with Suzuki's new 175hp four-stroke outboard.
Sales of the 7.2m model had slowed since the introduction of the company's 8.0m model due to powerplant options, meaning there was little difference in price between the two boats.
Kevlacat was considering taking the 7.2m model out of the range until Suzuki launched its 175hp four-stroke.
Twin 175hp Suzukis are an ideal power-to-weight ratio match, providing outstanding performance, amazing fuel economy and heaps of go. The twin 175hp option also provides the 7.2m model with its own competitive price point between the company's 6.5 and 8.0m models.
While the new 7.2m model features the same tried and proven hull design, it's now available with several cruising options, including removable rear lounge, double berth, and electric marine toilet treatment system.
The bowrail and rocket launcher has been upgraded, as has the flooring material, improved from marine ply to modern composite materials.
The new 7.2m Kevlacat, combined with twin 175hp Suzuki outboards, is the ideal family fishing boat. It will appeal to those looking for safety, comfort and performance in an offshore hull.
