JSW Powersports, officially the biggest Sea-Doo dealer in
the world, is inviting family and friends to a Charity Ride Day to support Hear
and Say, one of the leading paediatric Auditory and Implantable Technologies
(including cochlear implants) centres in the world.
Hear and Say says it costs more than $10,000 each year for up to six years
to teach one deaf child. With over 600 children in the program, fundraising
events and activities are essential to helping each and every child.
JSW Powersports is supporting this cause with its Charity
Ride Day on November 10. Each rider is asked to make a $20 donation to Hear and
Say when registering his or her interest to come along.
The Ride Day will depart from The Spit boat ramp, located
just past the Seaworld Resort, at 8am on Sunday November 10. JSW riders who
have vast jet-skiing experience and local knowledge will guide participating
riders on the day.
The JSW Team will meet everyone at the boat ramp at 7:30am
ready to guide the group through the Broadwater, past Wave Break Island and out
of the Seaway. This is a fantastic opportunity to witness the beauty of South
Stradbroke from the water and hopefully some marine wildlife along the way.
If you are not a confident rider take this chance to venture
out of the Broadwater with a group of experienced riders. We will then head
through the Jumpinpin passage between North and South Stradbroke Islands and back
down through the Broadwater, stopping at Tippler's Cafe for a waterside
breakfast.
