Australian recreational watercraft and marine leisure powerhouse JSW Powersports has become the new distributor for Cobalt as part of a push to expand the brand's presence here.
According to JSW Powersports, the distribution deal marks a significant milestone for the group by further bolstering one of Australia's premier distributors in the industry.
"With an already impressive array of established brands under its wing, including Sea Fox Boats, Sea-Doo PWC, Malibu and Axis Boats, Can-Am, and SEABOB, the addition of Cobalt Boats Australia/NZ heralds an exciting chapter of growth and diversification," JSW Powersports said in a statement announcing its appointment.
As well, JSW Powersports has announced JD’s Boatshed as a NSW-based dealership for Cobalt Boats.
"JD’s Boatshed has Cobalt pedigree within its DNA, successfully retailing the brand for many years," JSW Powersports said.
"JSW Powersports is already in discussions with other dealers in New Zealand and other states within Australia."
Cobalt Boats, renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship, innovative design, and unwavering commitment to quality, perfectly align with JSW Powersports' ethos of delivering excellence in the marine sector.
Whether it's cruising through serene waters or indulging in water sports adventures, Cobalt Boats symbolise the pinnacle of maritime excellence, and JSW Powersports is proud to facilitate access to these exceptional vessels for Australian enthusiasts.
Cobalt Boats offers a complete range of bowriders starting from 22.0 feet and ranging up to 33.0 feet, 4.0 inches.
The Cobalt range includes Surf models that the brand claims produce an "unrivalled wake" as well as outboard and sterndrive models.
One of the brand's newest models is the R33 Surf, a spacious runabout featuring sleek lines, agile handling and what Cobalt describes as an extraordinary ride.
The Cobalt R33 Surf is the brand's largest boat to date and can create a long and powerful wake behind the boat that is ideal for wake surfing and wakeboarding.
The R33 Surf was launched alongside the new Cobalt CS23 Surf, the entry-level model to the Surf line-up.
The R Series boat range includes Cobalt's e-Step, a swim deck step that folds out and down into the water at the press of a button to make it even easier for anyone in the water to re-board the boat.
The US brand also taps into Volvo Penta's FWD drive technology that uses a pair of forward-facing propellers positioned well under the boat to make it safer for anyone surfing wakes behind it.
