With only a handful of weeks to go before the start of the Discovery Holiday Parks Family Fishing Challenge, it’s time to dust off the rods, repack the tackle box and submit your registration for what will be a fun weekend of fishing for all ages.
The annual Family Fishing Challenge is being held over the weekend May 4-5 on the waters of the beautiful Lake Jindabyne.
The competition organising committee has secured Rapala Australia as the major sponsor of the fishing challenge.
Competition event manager Steve Williamson said, "The competition is all about participation, having fun with the family and challenging for the number of prizes."
With over $5000 worth of prizes on offer, there’s every reason to register for this event. The cost of entry for the 2013 Jindabyne Fishing Challenge is $60 per adult; $25 per child; and $140 for a family of two adults and two children. "You don’t even have to catch a fish to be a winner as there are heaps of lucky entry prizes and every child is guaranteed to go home with something out of the prize pool," Steve said.
The annual event not only aims to deliver a weekend of entertainment, all proceeds raised through the Saturday night silent auction will be donated to MS Australia.
The Fishing Challenge competition entry forms are available up until 10.00am on Saturday May 4 from Steve Williamson’s Tackle Shop, Snowline Centre Kosciuszko Road Jindabyne.
