JetSurf for maximum fun!

Motorised ride-on board carves it up

This weekend’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show opening Thursday May 24 features daily demonstrations of the JetSurf, a high-tech motorised surfboard from Dubai, designed and manufactured by MotoGP and Formula1 engineers.

Its monocoque hull is made 100 per cent highest-quality carbon fibre, weighs in at just 14kg, and with a specially designed two-stroke 86cc engine there’s a claimed top speed of about 30 knots (55km/h).

JetSurf is equipped with an automatic electronic control unit with auto-start function and a system for continuous running of the engine. Power to the starter motor and spark plug is supplied by three Lithium Ferron batteries. A digital charger is included for charging these batteries.

A patented exhaust system is said to ensure maximum power and reduced noise in a very small space. The demos will take place at 10.00am, noon and 2.00pm in the demonstration area of Marina C Arm. More at www.jet-surf.com.
