Jeanneau reveals 2025 powerboat range makeover

Jeanneau will introduce a new flagship cruising model, a new windscreen, and a Series 2 refresh

Jeanneau has launched a big overhaul of its powerboat range that will see some models refreshed and an all-new model introduced to the merry Fisher line-up throughout the year.

The French boat-maker has detailed a range of model tweaks that will roll out this year, saying it shares a passion with all who love the water, accompanying them in their pursuit of happiness and thrilling sensations on seas and oceans worldwide.

“Jeanneau, known for delivering intense experiences and simple pleasures on the water, continues to grow and to develop its strategy for the powerboat range, catering to all the ways to love the sea,” it said.

“In 2025, Jeanneau will capitalise on the positioning of its world-renowned product lines.”

Models receiving Jeanneau’s attention include the Merry Fisher 895 Sport Series 2, flagship versions of the Cap Caramat 10.5 WA and 12.5 WA, and a new coupe flagship, the Merry Fisher 1295 Coupe.

Merry Fisher 895 Sport Series 2

The second-generation version of the Merry Fisher 895 Sport, the largest of the three-model Merry Fisher Sport line-up, makes significant changes to its below-decks comforts featuring two separate berths.

According to Jeanneau, the owner’s cabin features a new sliding door, enabling direct access to the hanging clothes locker and a fixed double berth.

Meanwhile, the bathroom is optimised to integrate a comfortable and practical vanity space.

At deck level, the interior galley has moved aft, closer to the cockpit and the exterior living space.

Jeanneau says it has paid “careful attention” to the materials used inside the saloon space, including Corian countertops and a new grey walnut wood laminate that gives a higher-quality fit and finish.

The Merry Fisher 895 Sport will make its first international appearance at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival In September.

Merry Fisher 1295 Coupe

After introducing the flybridge version in 2022, Jeanneau has finally added a low-roof coupe version of its flagship outboard-engined Merry Fisher 1295 pocket cruiser.

According to Jeanneau, the new coupe model moves the Merry Fisher Weekender line more upmarket.

“This model has been long-awaited in numerous regions of the world, where it is less sunny or with clearance constraints for cruising,” it said.

“She features all the key strengths of the line: versatility, modular design, space, and clever layouts.”

The new coupe model appears to have the same interior layout as the flybridge version, as well as the electronically lowered side terraces that greatly enhance the amount of space in the cockpit.

Options include a joystick control system linked to the three 300hp Mercury Verado outboard engines powering it, a gyroscopic stabiliser for minimising pitch and yaw while at rest or underway, air-conditioning and a genset.

The new Merry Fisher 1295 Coupe will make its debut at the Grand Pavois la Rochelle boat show in France in October.

Cap Camarat 10.5 WA and 12.5 WA

Jeanneau will update the two flagship walkaround models in its Cap Caramat range to include the option of a windscreen that extends all the way up to the hardtop.

“This version is designed to combine cruising at high speeds and unprecedented protection from the wind and inclement weather,” Jeanneau said.

“This very protective boat offers a particularly high level of cruising comfort.

“Each model features an efficient ventilation system, with an opening porthole or integrated air vents.

“Behind the windscreen, the pilot and copilots can feel the sea breeze and feel closer to nature while remaining fully protected.”

Jeanneau says the Cap Camarat 10.5 WA and 12.5 WA will also undergo some styling tweaks, including changing the colour of the galley’s exterior doors to white, a chrome logo on the seats, and black handrails.

The Cap Camarat 10.5 WA and 12.5 WA’s interior will also feature a new sand oak timber finish.

Both new models will make their debut at October’s 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival.
