Integrity 35 Motor Yacht

The Integrity 35 is the first in a series of high-performance motorcruisers launched by Queensland-based Integrity Yachts Australia. Company founder Bernie Cohen was responsible for designing both the Hayman Island Sun Eagle and Sydney-based Captain Cook

With the Integrity 35, Cohen has set out to create a modern, high-performance flybridge motorcruiser with sleeping capacity for six to cater for family and corporate buyers.

The company expects to register success in both domestic and international markets, with plans already underway for an Integrity 43 and a 50 foot stablemates.

Available in four versions, the 35 is priced from $255,000 to $419,000, standard features include two helm stations (one in the flybridge and the other on the main deck) and more than 1.9m of headroom throughout.

An integrated boarding platform brings the overall length to 11.7m, and the vessel has a 3.66m beam.

The flybridge seats five adults at the helm with a curved fully integrated wraparound screen providing protection for the whole crew.

The lower deck features three private double staterooms, sleeping up to eight, and a bathroom featuring a large full height screened shower. On the main deck, there's a lounge and a separate sunken galley, but the highlight of this level is the sheltered dining deck for a day or evening entertainment. Forward of the galley to port is the fully-equipped lower helm station.

According to marketing director, Jason Chipp, the abundance of timber and subtle use of colour greatly enhances the bright and spacious interior feel of the vessel.

Integrity Yachts insists that although the vessel is very modern and stylish, it is not just a show boat.

On a recent test out of Mooloolaba the vessel reached a top speed of over 40kt powered by relatively modest twin 260hp diesel duo-prop sterndrives -- indicating that it also has plenty of go. The Integrity 35 will cruise to your favourite hideaway at a comfortable 32kt.

The 15° deadrise hull, based on a monohedron planing hull, incorporates high-pressure chines to assist in rapidly lifting the vessel onto the plane, aiding fuel economy, the maker says. Manufactured from fibreglass, it weighs 7000kg when coupled with twin 260hp Volvo Penta KAD 44 EDC diesels as standard.

"The end result is an extremely safe and performance-orientated family cruising vessel that's a great entertainer and just perfect for those weekends away with family and friends," Chipp told Trade-A-Boat.

A charter model is available, and is priced from $255,000.
