The impressive new Bugatti Niniette 66 sports yacht was inspired by the Bugatti Chiron, a mid-engine two-seater
sports car designed by Achim Anscheidt and revealed as recently as the
2016 Geneva Motor Show.
Described as a powerful alchemy between the prestige boatbuilder Palmer Johnson and the famous Bugatti brand, the sport yacht will be built in a limited run. As only 66 of these 66 footers will hit the water, you should get in quick.
Each boat will be a custom bespoke craft combining owner vision with the polished modernism and sumptuous comfort of a Bugatti.
Palmer Johnson's innovative monohull, stabilised by outer sponsons and powered by twin MAN
1000hp V8s with water jets, will see the Niniette 66 sizzle to 44 knots.
A shallow draft of less than one metre from the water jets means cruising the transparent
waters of the Bahamas is possible for the weekend, the project team says. Heart Reef from Hammo would work just as well.
MIND-BLOWING INTERIOR
The open-deck cockpit has been designed with "the singular quest to uplift your spirits and sharpen your senses." Tiered lounges beckon, hand-crafted in sweeps and curves, for stunning visual appeal and maximum space.
The combined Jacuzzi, sundeck and champagne bar will be party central. Then the forward seats flair up to frame a fire pit, which adds a fresh perspective to the pleasures of yachting. Lean forward to light your Cuban cigar.
The saloon pays tribute to the French automotive marque (now owned by Volkswagen), with a signature Bugatti horseshoe-shape lounge and heritage macaroon skylight.
The aft master suite is crafted in luxurious leather, nubuck, polished metal and carbon, while the guest bathroom has marble accents. You will find amenities consistent with a modern apartment in the galley.
HULL DESIGN
The super slim hull is said to provide higher speeds with lower power and fuel burn. Side sponsons offer additional vessel beam and increased stability at rest as you pop the cork, ignite the fire pit and slip in the spa.
As you would expect with a Palmer Johnson yacht, the advanced stabilised hull achieves impressive speed. The 44 knots come with efficiency and amazing comfort, we are assured.
Combining an innovative hull design, signature engineering and master craftsmanship of a Palmer Johnson, with the purity of design and perfect proportions of a Bugatti, the Niniette 66 is a next-generation sports yacht.
As we see it here, the 66-footer wins the automotive-inspired uber lux boating race by a decent margin from Aston Martin, Jaguar, Lexus, Mercedes, Porsche, et all.
Only that fire pit needs extinguishing before it engulfs the lot!
