Incat 37.5M Catamaran Motor Yacht

The new cat will be 37.50m in length and with a 10.30m beam will provide plenty of large, open deck space on a vessel that will be designed for long-range cruising, said the company.

The vessel will be powered by a pair of MTU 12V4000 M71 main engines driving fixed-pitch propellers through a reverse/reduction ZF gearbox. The main running gear will be protected by an integrated skeg providing protection from grounding and other potential hazards.

Incat Crowther said the interior of the vessel will be designed for entertaining and features an open plan lounge and dining area with large panoramic windows out the sides and looking aft.

The main guest cabins are located forward, and accessed from a central-entrance foyer complete with cloak room and guest bathroom facilities. Each guest cabin is fitted with two king-sized single beds that can be quickly rearranged into a king-sized double bed. In addition, there are large wardrobes complete with baggage storage, large en suite facilities, while all cabins feature the latest entertainment systems. A small gymnasium is located forward with direct access to the foredeck.

The mid deck features a full-width owner's cabin with en suite, walk-in wardrobe, office, sitting room and direct access to a large private balcony. An extra guest cabin and captain's cabin are positioned aft of an open wheelhouse which has been specifically designed for superior sightseeing with large vertical windows and guest seating.

A Portuguese-style foredeck has forward facing lounges for a thrill ride or evening drinks as the sun sets while sitting at anchor.

A large flybridge deck has been sparsely arranged with some seating, a BBQ area and lots of open space for relaxation.

The vessel will be built at the WA shipyard of Sabre Catamarans, who have a strong history in the construction of high-speed aluminium catamarans. Incat Crowther said the vessel owner was lead to them, "by their superior experience in catamaran design and the recent success of the MY Seafaris."

Incat Crowther said it has recently surpassed 300 successfully built vessels operating around the world, with its latest deliveries including vessels for the Seychelles, Japan, New York and the wilderness regions of Tasmania and NZ, and one of its next deliveries will be the world's fastest offshore crew boat for operation in the oil fields of the Gulf of Mexico.
