Fishing aboard a Bertram 570, a team representing the Perth Game Fishing Club took out the Col Henderson Memorial Trophy at the New South Wales Interclub Tournament at Port Stephens in MarchThe 'Interclub' is Australia's largest gamefishing tournament. The successful team of
Steve Hill, Brad Rodgers, Don Jones, John Whitehead, and Lou Rummer tagged and released seven marlin during the tournament.
Eagle Yachts and Bertram were a major sponsor of both the NSW Interclub, as well as the Salamander Shores BlueWater Classic, held as the mid-week tournament. They have also confirmed sponsorship of several other tournaments on both the east and west coast of Australia.
